We want to share news of changes to some of the services we provide in Torfaen from 31 March 2024.
The services will still be available, and you will be able to access them in the same way, but they will no longer be provided by Bron Afon.
There will be no changes to the way you can access these services via Gateway@torfaen.gov.uk or by phone 01495 766949
The Afon Support team, funded by the Housing Support Grant is moving to Stori Cymru, who already deliver a number of projects in Torfaen and is based at the MIND building in Pontypool.
Stori has been an active presence in Torfaen for over 20 years, offering a variety of specialised support services to families and individuals. Find out more about them here: Home | Stori (storicymru.org.uk)
The Families First service will be provided by Home-start Cymru, a Welsh charity operating nationally throughout Wales. Home-Start Cymru offers life changing support to families with young children to make sure that every child has the opportunity of the best start in life:

We are proud of the work our Afon Support and Families First teams have delivered over the years, and all the outcomes they have achieved. The teams will transfer to Stori and Home-Start Cymru on 1 April 2024 and we wish them all the best as they continue to do what they do best in our communities.
