Torfaen Council launched a new #TorfaenAtWork campaign to raise awareness of the various types of employment, financial, and training support packages that are in place, to help residents whose work has changed due to the ongoing pandemic.
By cutting through the confusion around skills, jobs, and training, and linking people to the right services in double-quick time, the Council’s well-established employment and skills projects will become the first point of contact for many residents whose employment situation has been affected or is about to change.
Executive Member for Economy, Skills & Regeneration, Councillor Joanne Gauden said: ‘During these unprecedented times, it’s more important than ever that we collaborate with our partners to plan and implement a co-ordinated employment service that supports our residents.
