Ty Newidiadau
We have been delighted to work with Engie Construction in the development of 12 innovative, energy-efficient new apartments for young people. The apartments, which will support young people who are, or are at risk of homelessness, were developed using Innovation Grant Funding from WG. This has enabled us to build three sets of apartments using different models of modern methods of construction (MMC). Two were built using two different types of straw bale (Modcell Core and Modcell TAM) and a third was built using Structural Insulated Panels.
Oakfield Grange
Working in partnership with Lovell and with Welsh Government providing 58% of the funding, we have been busy building 23 new family homes at the new Oakfield Grange site. So far 8 new properties have been handover over to families from Torfaen. The original site was formally Oakfield Primary School.
Henry Hughes House
Built-in 1923 and named after the owner and publisher of the Pontypool Free Press, Henry Hughes House is the oldest steel frame building in Pontypool. Working in partnership with P&P Building Contractors, and with £559,480 of Welsh Government’s Vibrant and Viable Places funding, we were delighted to be able to bring Henry Hughes House back to life.
Mount Road
Working with Jistcourt South Wales Ltd and with financial support from the Welsh Government of a 58% grant, we built one 3 bed and five 2 bed homes for families in Mount Road Trevethin.
