The thermostat is what controls the heating and hot water in your home.
If you find that you have hot water but no central heating you may need to change the batteries in your thermostat.
We generally have two types of thermostats; the Danfoss and the Drayton.
On the Danfoss thermostat, the battery compartment is just beneath the digital display and opens downwards.
The battery compartment is on the left-hand side and opens like this:
All you need to do is replace the two AA batteries.
On the Drayton model the battery compartment is on the bottom right-hand corner
There is a thumbnail position at the bottom of the compartment. You need to apply pressure and lift off.
All you need to do is change the two AA batteries.
That’s it! Your heating should now be back up and running.
