You may already know the brilliant Lauren Morse from Cwmbran. She has promoted the benefit of living a more sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle for some time.
Lauren started out with a refill station in her garden shed, which became so popular that she soon needed larger premises. She noticed we were advertising the former tattoo studio near The Tower for rent – and decided this would be just the place to set up her Zero Waste Torfaen shop last year.
Lauren was also successful in bidding for funding from our Pitch 4 Pounds scheme. She used the money to buy the weighing scales for the shop.
Lauren said: “Anyone can come in. It’s not something that people need to think,
“Oh, I need lots of money to come in here. Come in and just get exactly what you need.”
